Process consumption of third-party orders made using the Microsoft Azure Portal

AppDirect now supports the processing of usage for all third-party purchases made directly through the Microsoft Azure portal. Microsoft Azure customers have an option to purchase additional subscriptions of third party products directly from Azure Portal. The subscriptions are billed in a pay-as-you-go fashion while others have fixed monthly charges. These usages are processed from Microsoft Azure to AppDirect to create purchase orders.

The details of the related charges are identified in the Purchase Order and Invoice line Items as <Publisher Name>-<Subscription ID>-<Product ID>-<Product Name>.

This feature is not enabled by default. Contact your AppDirect technical representative to request this feature.

Setting enablement
